population it harbors. While the northern edge of the Park
lies along the Indo-Nepal border, the River Suheli marks the
southern boundary.

The nearest railheads are Dudhwa (4 kms), Palia (10 kms) and

Road

The
State Roadways buses and private bus services link Palia to
Lakhimpur Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly and Delhi. To travel
by road from Delhi, take the NH24 to Shahjahanpur via
Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Rampur and Bareilly.

Day
01 :
Arrive
by noon at Dudhwa rest house. Afternoon jeep ride towards
Sonaripur for wildlife viewing. Overnight at the forest rest
house.
Day
02 :
Morning
elephant ride in the jungle for tiger tracking and animal
viewing. The jungle visits lasts for about two hours. Return
to the rest house for breakfast & lunch. One can walk
around the surroundings or bird-watch. Afternoon drive to the
jungle for watching rhinos from a watch tower. Overnight stay
in the rest house.

03 :
Morning
drive to the park. Depart for onward journey to Corbett
National Park or return journey
