Day 01 : Kolkatta
:
You will be met on your arrival at Calcutta International Airport
and transfer to Hotel in
Calcutta.
After relaxation, transfer to Rlwy Station to board Rajdhani
for Varanasi. Overnight journey in train.
Day 02 : Varanasi:
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Morning boat ride on river Ganges to witness prayers in temples on
the banks. Afternoon visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first Sermon
2,500 years ago. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Varanasi-
Bodhgaya :
Depart for BodhGaya by road ( @6hrs drive).. Upon arrival.
transfer to the hotel at Bodhgaya- 13 kms from
Gaya
for overnight.
Day 04 : Bodhgaya -
Shikarji :
Full day excursion to Parasnath Hill in Hazaribagh District.
(According to the Jain tradition, no less than 23 out of 24
Tirthankars (including Parsvantha) are believed to have attained
salvation in the Sammetasikhara (Shikarji)of the Parasnath hills.
The hill seems to have been an abode of Jains. Overnight at
Shikarji in Dharamsala.
Day 05
: Shikarji - Bodhgaya :

Transfer back to Bodhgaya.Day on your own.
Day 06
: Bodhgaya-Rajgir:
(40kms one way)
Morning half day sightseeing of Bodhgaya. Afternoon transfer to
Rajgir for overnight.
Day 07
: Rajgir-Nalanda-Rajgir:
Full day excursion to Nalanda -
founded in 5th
century BC, was the site of the world's earliest university.
Ancient Buddhist texts bear evidence that Buddha and Mahavir
studied here for some time, and Rajgir, Gautam Buddha meditated
and preached on the hill of the Vultures, the Gridhakuta hill,
today on the summit of the hill stands a modern temple, the Vishwa
Shanti stupa, built by Japanese Buddhist Society
. Overnight at the hotel at Rajgir .
Day 08
: Rajgir-Pawapuri-Rajgir:
( 38kms one way)
Morning proceed for full day excursion to Pawapuri.
Pawapuri, which is also known as,
Apapuri, the sinless town, is a very sacred Jain Pilgrimage
center. It was here that Lord Mahavira, the greatest profounder of
jainism, attained salvation. Hundreds and thousands of his
disciples and devotees took away the ashes after his cremation
hereVisit
the famous Jal Mahal there. Overnight at Rajgir.
Day 09
: Rajgir -Vaishali-Patna :
(Rajgir to Patna-104kms)
After breakfast check-out hotel ,Enroute visit Vaishali and
proceed for Patna. Arrive at Patna & check in to Hotel,
Lunch. Evening at relaxation/ on your own.
Dinner.
Transfer from Hotel to airport or railway station for
onward
